For Chicken Asado

  • 1lb of chicken diced in ½
  • 2 of either red, yellow, or orange bell peppers, sliced (your choice)
  • 1 serrano pepper, diced (optional)
  • 1 small onion, sliced (I prefer white onions)
  • 1 jar of Estolia’s Salsa Asado
  • ½ cup of beef, chicken stock, or water
  • 2-3 tbsp of oil

For Chicken Asado

  1. Dice meat and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Add 1 tbsp to hot
  3. Add onion and cook for 3 min.
  4. Turn down heat to medium-hot so onions don’t burn.
  5. Add all peppers and cook to desired Remove from pan and set aside.

  7. Add oil.
8. Add Chicken and cook 3 min.
9. Add veggies back into pan, salsa, broth or water.
10. Bring to boil.
11. Cover and reduce heat.
12. Cook 30-45 minutes.
13. Serve with rice, beans, and tortillas.
