For Chicken Asado

  • 1lb of chicken diced in ½” cubes
  • 2 of either red, yellow, or orange bell peppers, sliced (your choice)
  • 1-2 serrano pepper, diced
  • 1/2 – 1 small white onion, sliced
  • 1 jar of Estolia’s Clasica or Salsa Asado
  • ½ cup of chicken stock or water
  • 2-3 tbsp of oil

For Chicken Asado

  1. Dice meat into cubes.
  2. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Add 2 tbsp to hot
  4. Add onion and peppers cook for 3 min.
  5. Heat pan up once again and add remaining oil.
  6. Add Chicken and cook 6 min or until golden.
  7. Add veggies, salsa, and broth/water back into pan.
  8. Bring to boil.
  9. Cover and reduce heat.
  10. Cover 20-30 minutes or until chicken is fork tender.
  11. Serve over a bed of brown rice or quinoa and side of black beans.
  12. Garnish with avocado and additional salsa. 
8. Add Chicken and cook 3 min.
9. Add veggies back into pan, salsa, broth or water.
10. Bring to boil.
11. Cover and reduce heat.
12. Cook 30-45 minutes.
13. Serve with rice, beans, and tortillas.
